Christ Jyoti is an English Medium Sr. Secondary School owned by Catholic Church, Satna, a Religious Minority Community. It is run by the Satna Diocesan Society registered under M. P. Society Registration Act 1964 (Reg. No. 3276) dated 28-03-1973, in collaboration with the Rev. Sisters of the Congregation of Sacred Heart. The management enjoys the minority right as enshrined in the Constitution of India (Art. No. 30).
Christ Jyoti School took its origin on the 1st of July 1973 in civil lines, Satna with Kindergarten Classes. Taking into consideration the earnest request of the parents and well-wishers later on the School was up-graded to Higher Secondary level.
The School bears the name Christ Jyoti, Christ the Light , The True Light which enlightens every one (John 1:9). Jesus leads us from darkness to light, Tamasoma Jyotirgamaya - Lead Kindly Light.
